Baseball USA will offer financial assistance to awarded participants giving them a chance to train and play on baseball teams that provide a positive yet competitive environment to master the required skills needed to accomplish success in the sport of baseball. Baseball USA may award up to 2,500 dollars per calendar year (January – December) per candidate to assist with the cost of team fees, travel expenses, tournament fees, equipment and any other baseball related expenses. The annual amount of scholarship money to be awarded will be determined by the Board of Baseball USA. Scholarship applications may be found here.
Baseball USA will accept applications, review applications and award scholarships three times a calendar year. Please review the Baseball USA Scholarship Process Calendar. Potential candidates have an opportunity to earn a Spring Scholarship, Summer Scholarship and a Fall Scholarship. Scholarship applications for the summer of 2017 will be available from February 15th thru June 5th. A selection committee made of up 5 non Baseball USA board members will review all summer applicants during the week of June 8th thru June 12th. Selected applicants will be forwarded to the President of Baseball USA for Board approval on June 18thth. Awarded summer applicants will be notified on or before June 30th.
Baseball USA will provide and accept Fall Baseball Scholarship applications for 2017 starting on July 15th thru September 5th. The selection committee will review all applicants and select awarded applicants the week of September 7th thru September 11th. All awarded applicants will be forwarded to the President of Baseball USA for Board approval on September 17th. Awarded fall applicants will be notified on or before September 30th.
Applications for Spring Baseball for 2017 will be available starting on November 1st, 2016 thru February 5th, 2016. The selection committee will review all applicants the week of February 8th thru February 12th and forward along to the President of Baseball USA for board approval on February 18thth. All awarded applicants will be notified on or before February 28th, 2017.

Late applications will not be accepted. All applications will be forwarded to a non Baseball USA board selection committee to review and select.
All applicants will be selected on the following criteria
- Need Base
- Participation, behavior and willingness to learn in school
- Completion of application
Confidentiality: Baseball USA holds all submitted information in support of scholarship applications in strict confidence. Financial awards are confidential agreements between the recipient, his/her family and Baseball USA. Baseball USA does not share families’ financial information with any other party. Likewise, families granted financial aid awards are required to keep confidential all details pertaining to a granted financial aid award. Baseball USA reserves the right to amend awards in the event a breach of this confidentiality clause occurs.
Notice to All Applicants: The granting (including the scholarship amount), denial or deferment of all Scholarship Applications will be made at the sole discretion of Baseball USA.
Once awarded applicants have been chosen by the selection committee and approved by the board of Baseball USA, the President of Baseball USA shall contact the awarded applicant and request any information that may be helpful in offering financial assistance. Baseball USA shall request any invoices at this time to assist in covering any expense cost that may be awarded to the applicant. No money shall be given directly to the awarded participant. Baseball USA will forward the awarded amount of scholarship funds directly to the entities providing the services to the awarded applicant such as team cost, travel expenses, lessons and or training, equipments cost or any other specifics awarded by Baseball USA. The President of Baseball USA shall monitor and oversee that all funds are paid as intended and outlined in the Scholarship Program. The President of Baseball USA shall also require that all awarded participants and/or any coaches or trainers associated with the awarded participant and benefiting from the awarded scholarship must sign the Baseball USA Code of Conduct agreement. Failure to do so or failure to abide by the Code of Conduct set forth by Baseball USA can result in a disqualification of any funds awarded by Baseball USA and could result in any future opportunities to apply again.
Applicants that are awarded a Baseball USA scholarship must attend a minimum of 2 leadership classes provided by the President of Baseball USA. All dates and times for the leadership classes will be posted on the Baseball USA website.
